The film was shot at various locations in Texas, including Rockwall, Llano, Dallas, Carrollton, Greenville, Commerce, and Sulpher Springs. The crew also traveled to Wilburton, OK, home of the Arkansas-Oklahoma Railroad. A custom-modified camera mount extension was used to achieve several unique POV shots from moving rail cars in the film.
